UX. UI. Research. Big words like Heuristic Evaluation. All are tools, tactics, process, or definitions to define the most basic understanding of the user, and design accordingly. Become the user. Whoever that is, in whatever demographic, with whatever skillset or encumbrances.
Empathy allows the designer to feel the pain points before an end user touches a device. The user centric designer can without words, speak on behalf of the user, ensuring they understand, identify or acquire whatever it is they engaged with the application for.
I support the user. I create beautiful solutions that provide an engaging experience while still satisfying the needs of the business. I accomplish this by conducting research, understanding both articulated and unspoken needs, and developing a data-driven solution that meets and exceeds the user’s expectations.
